70% of warrants and criminals are located by traffic stops. No tags, Speeding, etc.... I like seeing and knowing that the officers are around, it makes me feel safer.
My husband was pulled over for not having tags on his vehicle. We had purchased the vehicle two days prior and were on our way to take it home. The Officer wrote him a citation for not having proof of insurance in the vehicle. Four days later I went to the station to show proof of insurance and realized that my fax had been post dated incorrectly. As I tried to explain it to Brenda she alerted me that either I would have to pay the $200 charge for not having insurance or I could not leave until she got the correct information. As the court date was still several weeks away and the ticket was in my husbands name I wondered what authority she had over upholding this claim. I eventually left on my own after having an uneventful conversation with her about this predicament.
For the below listed review. Get temporary tags, Carry your proof of insurance thats required by law. Get your crap together...What a waste of review space.
