A quaint place with some nice exhibits related to local history. It is run by volunteers and open limited hours on Wednesday and Sunday. They might be able to generate more revenue with a gift shop offering a few items.

Amazing absolutely loved it.

A very interesting place. During WW2 more than half of the Bauxite for the production of aluminum worldwide was mined at Bauxite.

I can't say enough about this museum. It is two stories filled with highly personal historical exhibits donated by members of this community. It also includes exhibits of geological and industrial interest. Only a few minutes from I-30. A must-see for anyone passing through the area. Free admission!

very pretty, i had my prom here.
